1. What we are and our audience.
Eurochannel TV is an English language channel
aimed mainly at people living in Europe who
speak good English and need or want to keep
their language skills and their knowledge of
the UK up to date.
A significant additional audience are the large
numbers of English speakers who live abroad
(500,000 in France alone) who want better quality
programmes that keep them in touch with what
is happening in the UK.
Eurochannel TV shows more upmarket programmes
than are shown on Satellite and Cable in the
UK.
Our target audience profile is
- professional, well educated
- geographically mobile, see themselves more
as Europeans
- incomes are well above average
- literate and interested in cultural affairs
- cut across all age groups
- take several holidays a year

3. Holiday TV
Holiday TV consists of programmes about destinations
that people can go to
on holiday, and includes both hotels and the
destination/country itself.
A programme on a destination can last up to
1 hour and consists of an Introduction,
and then sections covering, Activities, History
& Culture, Food and Wine.
The target audience is anyone wanting to go
on a holiday, and specifically those people
who define themselves as explorers ( not tourists),
and who want an authentic experience.
Typically these people are older, wealthier,
better educated than average, and take more
than 2 holidays a year.
4 . News and Business News
From a number of sources we will
be creating news programmes and business news
programmes to keep you in touch with what is
happening daily on the London Stock Exchange
and in the wider UK business world.
We are also including special programmes on
specific topics, such as key companies, management
trends and finance.
5. Country Life TV
Country TV show a range of programmes about
countryside activities and related sports.
Key content of interest to an international
audience is equestrian sports, including show-jumping
and eventing, as well as angling.
The target audience is clearly anyone with interests
in countryside activities and pursuits, including
the Green movement, and typically these people
are older, and wealthier than the average.

6. Books, book reviews and author interviews
Our regular programmes include interviews with
English language authors, many
of them well-known internationally, and other
literature related programmes, including for
example a public interview with Stephen King,
the well-known and much acclaimed horror writer.
The target audience is anyone who loves books
and wants to know more about the authors and
their books.
